UNIONTOWN, Ohio – As one of the marketing coordinators at True Hire, I believe the company is a great place to work. At True Hire, they love creating an environment of encouragement, recognition, respect, teamwork and a positive can-do attitude.
True Hire is a background screening company headquartered in Uniontown, Ohio with more than 26 years of experience providing background checks, drug testing and other HR services. True Hire was founded in 1995 by Stephanie Froelich and Michael Barnhart, who still own the company and serve as the CEO and CDO, respectively.
All staff positions at True Hire are Monday through Friday and there is no weekend work required. True Hire offers an excellent employee benefit package which includes medical and life insurance, paid holidays, 401(k) and generous vacation and paid time off. Customized work schedules for employees with childcare needs and remote work options who have a longer commute are offered.
Flextime is also available to all employees, so that we can adjust our work schedule to make up hours from time taken off, not using our paid time off. Personally, I attend many medical appointments and the flextime is perfect for handling this.
In addition to the traditional employee benefits, True Hire offers many informal employee benefits. Each month, they celebrate employee birthdays and work anniversaries and hold a luncheon for every major holiday.
To celebrate the staff each year and thank them for their hard work, the company hosts the entire staff at Gervasi Vineyard for a special Christmas dinner. They have held other fun celebrations for the staff, like a tailgate party in our parking lot, cookouts at a local park and a party to celebrate each time the company wins an award.
Lastly, True Hire has a business casual dress code with fun dress-up days throughout the year, including pajama day and pink days for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Every Thursday, the entire staff wears comfy True Hire t-shirts provided by the company.
True Hire also cares deeply about charitable giving, supporting charitable causes which are important to their employees. Around the holidays, the company always participates in Toys for Tots, and this past holiday season the staff sponsored a local family, a single mother and young daughter, providing them with more than $2,000 in gifts and gift cards made possible through contributions from the staff and contributions from the owners at True Hire.
I personally feel very appreciated at True Hire and I greatly enjoy working for the company and spending time with my coworkers. I am passionate about the work I am doing.
