Foundation Seeks Donations to Benefit Local Organizations
SHARON, Pa. – The deadline is nearing for businesses, organizations and individuals to make donations, large and small, to nonprofit organizations as part of the Community Foundation of Western PA and Eastern OH’s Giving Week.
Donations benefiting local organizations will be compounded by $150,000 in matching money available. And the organization that has the most donations over the next 24 hours will receive an additional $500.
As of Wednesday morning, more than $340,000 has already been donated, according to the foundation.
Giving Week began Saturday and will end Friday.
