Good Morning Youngstown Set for March 18

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber will host Good Morning, Youngstown at Stambaugh Auditorium at 7:30 a.m. March 18.

Mayor John McNally will open the event with brief remarks, followed by four speakers who will outline their efforts to renovate the city.

Strollo Architects President Gregg Strollo will speak about his firm’s work on the Wells Building downtown and the upcoming renovation of the Central YMCA. John Hyden, director of Youngstown State University’s facilities and support services, will discuss campus improvements and planned work along Wick Avenue.

Stambaugh Auditorium general manager Matt Pagac will highlight the renovations to the Tyler Grand Ballroom. Abby Beniston, code enforcement superintendent for the city, will talk about the Youngstown Air Reserve Station’s 910th Civil Engineer Squadron, which has worked with the city to demolish blighted properties.
