Goodwill Hosts Bridal Pop-Up Shop
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Shoppers and brides-to-be can browse designer dresses at discount prices at ‘Say Yes to the Goodwill Dress,’ a one-day bridal pop-up shop at the Liberty Goodwill store, 2747 Belmont Ave.
Most of the bridal gowns are available for purchase for up to 75% off the original price. The event is scheduled for Saturday, June 23 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“There is an amazing selection of gowns and accessories that will be featured at this event,” said Mary Beth Czifra, Goodwill Industries of Mahoning and Shenango Valleys. “We have wedding gowns that still have tags on them and were originally priced for thousands of dollars. All are sold at a dramatic discount, and funds generated through sales at our stores help support Goodwill mission programs.”
Other event features include gowns for bridesmaids and mothers of the bride, shoes, accessories and jewelry. The event is made possible through the support of the Junior Group of Goodwill, a volunteer arm of Goodwill Industries of Mahoning and Shenango Valleys.
“We are incredibly grateful of our donors and volunteers who made this event possible,” Czifra said. “Their support, not just of this event, but Goodwill efforts year round, is truly appreciated by our staff and the individuals we serve.”
