Goodwill Moving Austintown Store, Hosting Hiring Event

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Later this spring, Youngstown Area Goodwill Industries will move its Austintown store to a bigger space on the opposite side of Mahoning Avenue.

The new space, 6009 Mahoning Ave. in a plaza alongside Walmart and Dollar Tree, is nearly twice the size of the current store at 24,000 square feet.

“The move aligns with our strategic mission,” said CEO Mark Goloja in a statement. “We are leveraging what we learned from the larger-sized stores we opened in Salem and Greenville to create the same upgraded experience in Austintown.”

Goodwill is hosting open interviews Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the current store in Austintown Plaza. Applicants coming to the interviews are asked to bring two forms of ID. Those who cannot attend can apply for positions online at GoodwillYoungstown.org/employment.
