Hall and Oates at Covelli Centre Aug. 21
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — One of the most successful rock duos in history, Daryl Hall and John Oates are coming to the Covelli Centre this summer.
The No. 1 selling duo in music history released six No. 1 singles throughout the 1970s and ’80s, including “Rich Girl,” “Kiss on My List,” “Private Eyes,” “I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do),” “Maneater,” and “Out of Touch.”
On May 20, 2008, Hall and Oates received the Icon Award during BMI’s 56th annual Pop Awards, and in 2014 they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.
The concert is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 21 at 7:30 p.m. with special guest G. Love & Special Sauce. Presale sales tickets are available May 9 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. with the online-only password ‘Covelli’. Public ticket sales start on Friday at 10 a.m.
