Happy Birthday Youngstown 2019
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — The fourth annual Happy Birthday Youngstown event is scheduled for June 26 at 5:30 p.m. at the Tyler Mahoning Valley History Center at 325 W. Federal St.
Hosted by the Downtown Youngstown Partnership – a component of Youngstown CityScape – and the Mahoning Valley Historical Society, the event celebrates the founding of Youngstown on June 27, 1796.
After free cake and cookies at 5:30 p.m., members of the historical society and CityScape will lead a walking tour examining the past, present and future of downtown Youngstown. The tour will culminate at the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre, which opened on Friday.
This free event is open to the public.
