Historical Society Hosts Oak Hill Cemetery Tour Oct. 27
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Just in time for Halloween, the Mahoning Valley Historical Society will host its annual History to Go: Oak Hill Cemetery Tours Oct. 27.
The tours begin at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. at the cemetery chapel. Parking is available on-site and donations are requested.
Starting at the cemetery chapel, the tour will cover the history of the cemetery, its landscape and architecture, and some of the more famous Youngstown residents interred there, such as Governor David Tod.
