Historical Society Organizes Car Museum Field Trip

CANFIELD, Ohio – The Mahoning Valley Historical Society will host a field trip to the T.P. Tools Auto Museum here Aug. 13 from 10 a.m. to noon.

The trip is being held in conjunction with the Wheels of Steel: The Mahoning Valley’s Car Culture exhibit at the Tyler Mahoning Valley History Center. Admission to the museum is free and tours will be given throughout the day.

T.P. Tools, 7075 State Route 446, opened its museum as a standalone building in 2009. Among the 50 vehicles in its collection are a 1929 Ford Model A, a 1931 Chevrolet Taxi Cab and a Good Humor ice cream bike. The museum also features a replica of a 1950s diner and soda bar.
