CANFIELD, Ohio – The Holborn Herb Growers Guild is holding its 2018 Herb and Plant Sale at the Pumpkin Barn in the Canfield Fairgrounds 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 19.
In addition a large selection of herbs, perennials, succulents and fairy garden plants, there will also be a “twice loved” book sale featuring gardening, herb and cookbooks will be available for purchase. Guild members will be on hand to assist with purchasing, answer questions and share information.
The guild will also feature the second printing of the Holborn Herb Growers Guild cookbook “Herbal Fare” for purchase. The cookbook not only includes culinary ideas but lots of practical ways to make the most of harvested herbs.
The Holborn Herb Growers Guild began in 1982 with the aim of educating members and the public in the use and enjoyment of herbs. The guild has established public herb gardens at the Western Reserve Village at the Canfield Fairgrounds and at Boardman Park.
The Herb and Plant Sale is free to attend and will be held rain or shine. Only cash or checks will be accepted.
