Home Savings Donates $5K to YMHA
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Home Savings recently presented a check for $5,000 to the Youngstown Metropolitan Housing Authority for its homeownership and financial fitness classes.
“The homeownership program educates and assists participants in becoming homeowners and includes financial fitness classes that cover topics such as budgeting, banking, credit and debt management,” said Jason Whitehead, CEO and executive director of the Youngstown Metropolitan Housing Authority.
The Youngstown Metropolitan Housing Authority is dedicated to creating and maintaining healthy, service enriched neighborhoods by providing attractive, secure, affordable housing and innovative programs designed to enable residents to achieve a higher level of economic and social self-sufficiency.
“We’re proud to be able to support the Youngstown Metropolitan Housing Authority,” said Trish Gelsomino, Home Savings branch manager of the main office downtown. “An incredible number of lives have been touched by their organization, we are so fortunate to have them in our community.”
