Inspiring Minds Branches Out to Philadelphia, NYC

WARREN, Ohio — Inspiring Minds is looking forward to providing more youth development opportunities this year in Warren and Youngstown as well as in Philadelphia and New York City, says Jessica Winters, program administrator.

Inspiring Minds Youngstown wrapped up its fifth year of programming, grew into its new space and deepened relationships with the community, Winter says.

Inspiring Minds Warren continued to renovate its new headquarters as a campaign is underway to fund future phases of the project. Inspiring Minds Philadelphia grew into its second year of summer and after-school enrichment programming. And Inspiring Minds NYC wrapped up its first  year with a youth conference focused on The 1619 Project in The New York Times.

More than 600 students in grades K-12 participate in Inspiring Minds programming. The organization takes students to tour colleges and industries. Plans are in the works to take another group of students to Africa this year.
