It’s Halloween! Check-in to Escape Boardman Hotel

BOARDMAN, Ohio — Escape Boardman Hotel marked the grand opening of its second location, inside the Southern Park Mall, at a ribbon-cutting Friday.

The 1930s haunted hotel theme includes flashing lights, thunder, skeletons. Visitors “check-in” to see if they can escape.

The entertainment venue is owned by partners Nancy Smith, Jeff Humphrey, Joe Terlecky, Don Hepler and Ivan Bosnjak.

A special feature is the Annabelle doll, which the partners were able to purchase from the producers of movies that featured the haunted young girl.

The first Escape Boardman opened in 2017 at 7253 Glenwood Ave. It features two rooms, The Vampire’s Lair and Professor Escape’s Potion Class.

Escape Boardman Hotel features Smith’s Insane Asylum, The Red Door and virtual reality rooms.

Party rooms are available upon request for birthday parties, corporate team-building events and other occasions.

Players must be over the age of 11.
