JA Hosts Bowl-A-Thon Fundraiser Saturday
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Junior Achievement of Mahoning Valley will hosts its annual Bowl-A-Thon fundraiser, with the theme “All That Jazz,” 2 to 5 p.m. Feb. 9 at Wedgewood Lanes in Austintown.
Proceeds will support Junior Achievement’s financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurial programs to nearly 14,000 students in the Mahoning Valley.
In additional to bowling, the Bowl-A-Thon will feature 50-50 raffles, prizes, giveaways and team photo opportunities.
Raffle tickets, $10 each, will be available for drawings to win prizes donated by local organizations including Covelli Entreprises, Gasser Chair Co., Oh Wow! The Roger & Gloria Jones Children’s Center for Science & Technology, Opera Western Reserve and Baird Brothers Fine Hardwoods. The drawings will be held June 1.
