Jersey Mike’s ‘Month of Giving’ Supports Project MKC

BOARDMAN, Ohio – As part of the chain’s ninth annual Month of Giving campaign, the Boardman Jersey Mike’s Subs will donate all of its sales on March 27 to Project MKC.

Based in Boardman, Project MKC – formerly known as Making Kids Count – provides diapers, clothing, toys and other necessities to families in need.

Last year’s Month of Giving raised more than $6 million for charities, said Jersey Mike’s founder and CEO Peter Cancro in a release. Some 170 organizations received money from the chain, including hospitals, youth organizations and food banks. A full list of participating restaurants and their supported organizations is available here.

“From the early days, it’s just what we’ve always done – give to give, as they say,” he said. “This March, I invite you to visit Jersey Mike’s to help support an important cause in your neighborhood.”

The Boardman Jersey Mike’s Subs opened in October at 813 Boardman Poland Road in Presidential Square plaza.
