Jewish Family & Community Services Receives $45K Grant
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Jewish Family & Community Services was recently awarded a $45,000 grant by Direction Home of Eastern Ohio.
The funds will be used for aging-well programs, emergency food services, the creation of a kinship support group for grandparents caring for their grandchildren and financial assistance through JFCS’ Helping Hands fund, a news release states.
JFCS, in collaboration with the JCC of Youngstown, offers a variety of aging-well programs including Caregiver Café, Tech Tuesdays, Grief Group and Lunch Bunch. Information about the programs is available HERE.
