Komar Anchor Ranked No. 239 on Inc. 5000 List
BOARDMAN, Ohio – Komar Anchor Plumbing & Drain Service has been ranked No. 239 on this year’s Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies with 1,848% revenue growth between 2016 and 2019.
“We are honored to be a part of the Inc 5000 list this year. Our team has worked incredibly hard over the past three years for this honor,” said Komar Anchor founders Bret Bohach, Brad Evan and Thaddeus Smith in a statement announcing their inclusion on the list.
The entity was formed in December 2016, when Anchor Plumbing purchased Komar Plumbing after its owner decided to retire. The merged company retained many long-term Komar employees.
“We are proud to continue the tradition of Komar Plumbing by focusing on our customers and their business and residential plumbing needs,” Smith said at the time. “Having been in business for 53 years, Komar’s good, quality plumbing reputation and talented workforce was so strong, we decided a merger with our relatively young firm was the best option.”
Komar Anchor will be among the businesses featured in Inc. magazine’s September issue, available now.
“The companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 come from nearly every realm of business,” said Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “From health and software to media and hospitality, the 2020 list proves that no matter the sector, incredible growth is based on the foundations of tenacity and opportunism.”
All companies named to the list will be honored a virtual ceremony October 23 through 27.
Four other area companies were also named to the Inc. 5000 list: Medlab International of Cortland was ranked No. 25, Perishable Shipping Solutions of Youngstown at No. 315, Media Creek of Hermitage, Pa., was ranked No. 1322 and Synergy Comp Insurance Co. of Sharon, Pa., was ranked No. 4,312.
