Kravitz Delicatessen Completes 80th Year

YOUNGSTOWN – Kravitz Delicatessen completed its 80th year in business and is preparing to celebrate 50 years at its Belmont Avenue location, says owner Jack Kravitz. In 2019, the store was renovated to take it back to its roots with an art deco look.

“Our store was originally an Isaly’s Dairy and we try to retain as much as we can of the original while making it a Kravitz Deli,” Kravitz says.

Also last year, Inspired Catering by Kravitz experienced nearly 50% growth, and is now booked every Saturday during the wedding season at Mill Creek Park, he reports.

In addition, the Kravitz Garden Café has launched a marketing effort to raise awareness that it offers lunch and brunch overlooking Lake Glacier.
