NEW CASTLE, Pa. — The 13th annual Lawrence County Women’s Conference is scheduled for March 7 and will feature a number of women speakers.
Speakers this year include Michele Goodman-Jones, author of “Etiquette for Snobs;” pharmacist JooHyun Greenwood who will discuss health needs for women of different ages; Colleen Chamberlain, site administrator Pennsylvania CareerLink Lawrence County; and Gayle Young, executive director of United Way of Lawrence County, who will discuss Asset Limited Income Constrained Employed, or ALICE.
The event will be held at the Villa Banquet Center, 2500 New Butler Road. Tickets are $25, which includes a light breakfast, buffet lunch and $10 voucher to purchase items from participating woman-owned businesses at the event.
