Leadership Shenango 2016 Is Accepting Applications
SHARON, Pa. – The Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce is seeking applications for Leadership Shenango, a leadership development program in its 22nd year.
More than 500 professionals have completed the program, many of whom serve on boards in the Shenango Valley.
Leadership Shenango encourages the regeneration of community leaders, officials said, by providing a forum for the exchange of ideas where incumbent leaders share their experiences with aspiring leaders who bring new ways to solve challenges.
Among the objectives are expanding the pool of effective community leaders, introducing graduates to community boards and committees, educating emerging leaders on the history and development of the Shenango Valley, and promoting teamwork in addressing community issues.
