MCCTC Adult Career Center Tours Scheduled

CANFIELD, Ohio – The public has several opportunities to tour the campus of Mahoning County Career & Technical Center’s Adult Career Center over the next few months.

Tours are scheduled at 6 p.m. Oct. 17, Jan. 17, April 17 and May 7 and at 10 a.m. March 12.

Featured adult technical training programs are Welding, Automotive Technology, Medical Assistant, Medical Office Specialist, Firefighter I & II and EMT.

“Taking a campus tour can help potential students learn more about the skilled trades and help them decide if the Adult Career Center is the right fit for them,” said Jodi Glass, recruiter and marketing coordinator.

During campus tour events, attendees can observe a live class. Labs will be open for touring, and MCCTC Adult Career Center’s student recruiter will be on hand to discuss how to apply. Those who are ready to graduate high school or who have already earned a high school diploma are encouraged to attend.

MCCTC’s financial aid coordinator and Mahoning and Columbiana Training Association will be on-site to help students and parents learn more about FAFSA and other ways to pay for school.

Individuals who want to register for campus tour dates can call the MCCTC Adult Career Center office at 330 729 4100. Registration is not required but is appreciated.
