McKinley Library Hosts Talk by Plain Dealer’s Pluto
NILES, Ohio – Cleveland Plain Dealer sports reporter Terry Pluto will discuss his career covering the Browns, Indians and Cavaliers at the McKinley Memorial Auditorium Aug. 14.
The discussion will be held 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Pluto will be available briefly after the program selling and autographing copies of his new book, “The Browns Blues: Two decades of utter frustration and why everything kept going wrong for the Cleveland Browns.”
A native of Cleveland, Pluto has covered sports for the Plain Dealer since 2007. He previously worked at the Akron Beacon-Journal. In addition to reporting, he has also written 24 sports books – including “LeBron James: The making of an MVP” and “Glory Days in Tribe Town: The Cleveland Indians and Jacobs Field 1994-1997” – and four on religion.
