Medical Mutual Reenters Medicare Advantage Market
CLEVELAND – Medical Mutual of Ohio plans to reenter the Buckeye State’s Medicare Advantage market, the company announced today with insurance options that it says will make the market more competitive.
“These new plans are designed to meet the budget and health-care needs of every Medicare-eligible Ohioan,’’ said Rick Chiricosta, chairman, president and CEO of Medical Mutual of Ohio, in a statement.
Medical Mutual will begin marketing the new Medicare Advantage plans tomorrow for the annual Medicare open enrollment period, which runs from Oct. 15 through Dec. 7.
The company, founded 80 years ago, is the largest Ohio-headquartered health insurer, and serves 1.5 million Ohioans.
