Myers Family Insurance Donation Supports New SRMC Facility

SALEM, Ohio – Myers Family Insurance has secured the naming rights to the Firestone Surgery Center’s reception area at the SRMC Surgery & Outpatient Pavilion at Firestone Farms TownCenter in Columbiana.

Myers Family Insurance contributed a “significant donation” in support of the new health facility, the Salem Regional Medical Center Foundation announced Tuesday.

“Myers Family Insurance has been a dedicated community partner of Salem Regional Medical Center for many years,” said Amy Reed, director of the SRMC Foundation. “We are truly appreciative of their generosity and ongoing commitment to helping our hospital advance the care it provides to our patients.”

Myers Family Insurance was founded in 2013 and is owned and operated by Jim and Ann Myers.

“Jim and I deeply believe in giving back to our local communities,” Ann Myers said. “We understand the importance of patients having access to the latest medical technologies and services close to home and are proud to support the hospital’s continued growth through its new outpatient facility.”

Jim Myers said he has experienced the importance of advanced care.

“When my dad was battling cancer, I saw firsthand how meaningful Salem Regional Medical Center’s advanced care is to patients and their families,” he said. “We’re happy to have the opportunity to share in the hospital’s legacy of improving the health of area residents.”
