NIL Deals Help Student Athletes Plan for Future Success
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Practicing, lifting, playing games – preparing for collegiate basketball is a job. And now students athletes such as Youngstown State University women’s player Mady Aulbach are cashing in.
“I think it’s so cool that we finally have the opportunity to get paid for just kind of being an athlete and all the hard work we do,” says Aulbach.
She participates in what is likely to become big business for sponsors and student-athletes across the country under the new “name, image, likeness” regulations.
