Ohio Career and Technical Education Official Visits MCCTC
CANFIELD, Ohio – Dee Smith, executive director of the Ohio Association for Career and Technical Education, paid a visit to the Mahoning County Career & Technical Center on Tuesday.
Smith toured the school and talked with students and staff during her visit. She got to see the school’s innovative programs and cutting-edge technology as she visited various classrooms and observed students working on real-world projects.
“We are incredibly grateful to Dee Smith for taking the time to visit our institution,” Superintendent John Zehentbauer said. “Her support and advocacy for career and technical education are invaluable, and her visit reaffirms the importance of our mission to prepare students for successful careers.”
As the leader of Ohio ACTE, Dee Smith plays a role in advocating for career and technical education across the state.
