Packard Museum Hosts Robotics Day June 16

WARREN, Ohio – The National Packard Museum and the Northeast Ohio First Robotics Alliance will welcome school robotics teams from across the region for the seventh annual First Robotics Day from noon to 4 p.m. June 16.

Giving demonstrations and answering questions at the museum, 1899 Warren Ave., will be teams from Warren G. Harding High School, Champion High School and McGuffey K-8, among others.

First — For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology — was founded by inventor Dean Kamen and MIT professor Woodie Flowers. The local chapter includes teams from Austintown, Alliance, Girard, Youngstown, Warren, Champion, Canfield, Berea and Pepper Pike.

Admission to Robotics Day, held in the Packard Museum’s Legacy Gallery, is free. Concessions will be available for purchase.
