Panelmatic to Receive Excellence in Manufacturing Award

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Panelmatic Building Solutions will receive the Excellence in Manufacturing Award from the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber at the Economic Forecast Breakfast Nov. 5.

Based in Brookfield, Panelmatic Inc. is a manufacturer of custom electrical and process instrument control panels. Its newest division, Panelmatic Building Solutions, open in 2019 and fabricates control houses for the rest of the company. Following Panelmatic’s move into a 73,000-square-foot plant, the company has become one of FirstEnergy’s top suppliers of packaged substations.

“We are honored to recognize Panelmatic Building Solutions and its parent company for their growth, as well as investment in, and ongoing commitment to, our community,” said Sarah Boyarko, the chamber’s chief operating officer, in a statement. “Panelmatic’s leadership has worked to diversify their products and services to ensure success in emerging markets.” 

The Excellence in Manufacturing Award is presented in conjunction with Magnet and the Ohio Manufacturing Extension Partnership. The award recognizes longevity in business, growth, innovation and achievement. Nominated manufacturers must be Regional Chamber members in Columbiana, Mahoning or Trumbull counties.

The award will be presented at the chamber’s annual Economic Forecast Breakfast, held this year Nov. 5 at the Eastwood Event Centre. Tickets, available for purchase HERE, are $40 for chamber members and $50 for nonmembers. Featured speakers are Youngstown State University political science professor Paul Sracic and First National Bank’s Ahmed El Nokali, managing director and head of interest rate management.
