Partnership Brings Career, Educational Info to OhanaLink App

HERMITAGE, Pa. — OhanaLink Technologies announced a partnership with West Central Job Partnership to sponsor career and education resources on the company’s OhanaLink Health mobile app.

“We are excited to partner with West Central Job Partnership to collaborate with us to share career information and educational resources in our app,” said Kara Wasser, founder and CEO of OhanaLink Technologies. “We know that the majority of people spend hours each day on their smartphones. By offering unique career and education resources right in our app, we know this will reach individuals directly where they ‘live’ and make information available when they need it.”

West Central Job Partnership is a nonprofit serving Lawrence and Mercer Counties through the administration and operation of job training and workforce development programs. It is also the West Central workforce Development Area, one of 23 designated areas across the commonwealth.

“We are continuously looking for new ways to reach the communities we serve to provide a wide range of career information and resources,” added Eric Karmacy, division chief of WCJP. “Through our partnership with OhanaLink Technologies, this allows us to engage in new communication channels to reach people in real time on their cell phones.”

OhanaLink develops applications for smart devices that its clients can use to connect family members and friends through a private virtual community during health events. The OhanaLink app includes family-focused products OhanaLink Baby, OhanaLink Health Kids and OhanaLink Health.
