Penn State Shenango’s ‘Scoop & Paint’ Returns Feb. 16

SHARON, Pa. – Penn State Shenango will host the fourth annual Scoop & Paint fundraiser Feb. 16 at the campus’ Great Hall, 147 Shenango Ave. in downtown Sharon.

All proceeds from the program, which begins at noon, will go toward the Heart of Shenango scholarship. The scholarship is the campus’ only one funded entirely by faculty and staff donations. Since it was founded in 2010, the fund has awarded more than $18,000 in scholarships.

Admission for Scoop & Paint is $35 per person or $60 for a couple. It includes all painting supplies, as well as ice cream from the Penn State Berkey Creamery. Participants must be at least 16 years old. Featured artist Chelsea Cimperman will lead the class.
