Postal Council to Host Pizza Joe’s Founder

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Joe Seminara, founder and president of the Pizza Joe’s chain, will be the featured speaker at an event presented by the Steel Valley Postal Customer Council.

During the free seminar, “Lunch with Joe,” Seminara will discuss how he grew his business from a single 600-square-foot, family-owned storefront in New Castle, Pa. in 1980 to 43 stores throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Within four years of opening his first shop, Seminara launched additional Pizza Joe’s units throughout the greater New Castle area. In March of 1985, the first Pizza Joe’s franchise was opened in Ellwood City, Pa., and the franchise system has grown since then.

The event is set for noon to 1 p.m. Feb. 25 at the Youngstown Main Post Office, 99 S. Walnut St. Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. Refreshments (pizza) will be provided.
