Power of the Arts Event to Focus on e-Marketing

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Power of the Arts will hold its next Arts Means Business event May 14, Technology in Arts Marketing: From the Dark Ages of Printing to Twitter. The event will take place 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Raymond John Wean Foundation in downtown Warren.

During the event, presenters will discuss how search engine optimization and social media can impact everything in an arts and cultural context, from ticket sales to creating buzz about an artist’s work.

Becky Keck of the Students Motivated by the Arts program will moderate the event, which will which will feature presenters Ross Morrone of Youngstown State University’s College of Creative Arts and Communication and Jason Wood of Actionable Incites.
