Remote Area Medical Seeks Volunteers for Pop-Up Clinic in Sharon

SHARON, Pa. – Remote Area Medical, a nonprofit provider of pop-up clinics that delivers free dental, vision and medical care to those in need, is seeking volunteer dental professionals, nurses and general support staff for its free dental clinic at Sharon High School on June 8 and 9.

Services available at the dental clinic will include cleanings, fillings, extractions and X-rays.

General support volunteers are needed to help set up the clinic June 7 and take it down June 9. Overnight parking volunteers are also needed to greet patients, and interpreters can volunteer to aid patients through the process, either in the parking lot or during clinic operations. Individuals do not need to work in the medical field to volunteer as general support.

To volunteer, visit Remote Area Medical’s website or call 865 579 1530.
