Renova Festival Concert Series to Run June 8-18

NEW CASTLE, Pa. – The Renova Music Festival 2016 Concert Series will take place June 8 through 18.

The festival brings together nationally recognized artist faculty and musicians from around the country for two weeks of chamber music and chamber orchestra instruction at the Villa Maria Retreat Center in Villa Maria.

The festival was started in 2012 by Joshua Zona, music director and conductor of the Rapides Symphony Orchestra in Alexandria, La.,

The concert schedule follows:

  • June 8, 7:30 p.m., Faculty Artists Concert, Northminster Presbyterian Church, New Castle;
  • June 11, 7:30 p.m., Renova Chamber Orchestra, Magnificat Chapel, Villa Maria Center, Villa Maria;
  • June 15, 7:30 p.m., Faculty Artists Concert, Northminster Presbyterian Church;
  • June 17, 7:30 p.m., Young Artist Chamber Ensembles, The Confluence, downtown New Castle;
  • June 18, 7:30 p.m., Renova Chamber Orchestra, Magnificat Chapel.
