Revenue Up at Phillips|Sekanick

WARREN, Ohio – Phillips|Sekanick Architects Inc. has experienced steady financial growth over the past decade, including a 7% increase in year-to-year revenues in 2019.

The 104-year-old firm completed projects in 11 states in 2019, continuing its focus on the food service industry while expanding in the office, retail and event facility markets, says Bruce Sekanick, architect.

Projects completed in 2019 included corporate offices for Warren Fabricating, alterations and additions to North-Mar Church and the expansion of Thom Duma Jewelers, in addition to working on nearly 70 Covelli Enterprises-owned Panera Bread locations.

With the start of 2020, work continues in the food service and retail markets with projects planned for Canfield, Niles and the Cleveland area. Ongoing projects include Donnell Ford, the Eastwood Event Center, the Flynn Auto Group, Dunkin’ Brands and Covelli Enterprises. 

Phillips|Sekanick’s capabilities grew in 2019 through its association with Axiom Architects LLC of Youngstown. Projects  include new offices for the Builders Association, the indoor tennis courts at Youngstown State University and the Girard Performing Arts Center. 

Sekanick is the president of the American Institute of Architects Ohio Foundation.
