Riviera Creek Announces Artist Finalists for Creator Series
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Riviera Creek, a medical marijuana cultivator and processor based in the city, has selected eight finalists for its holiday Creator Series, the company said.
Riviera Creek accepted 66 submissions from artists throughout the United States to design the company’s limited edition tin packaging for its Stambaugh GC product.
This year’s finalists are Alex Jesko of Chagrin Falls, Antoine Davis of Youngstown, Carter Agassi of Los Angeles, Cory Wright of Warren, Cyndi Bellerose of Columbus, Drew Merritt of Youngstown, Elisha Watts of Columbus and Katie Clark of Cleveland.
The winner will be announced at the end of April. Throughout the month, the company is sharing each artist’s background and their work, showcasing their talent.
“We are so proud to create this art platform here in Ohio,” said Riviera Creek Chairman Brian Kessler. “We are excited to see our exclusive packaging program grow from what it was five years ago to what it is today.”
Kessler said the series has attracted attention from all over the country. “We only look forward to broadening this program in the coming years and opening it up to more artists in the future.”
Riviera Creek first launched its limited edition packaging in 2021, which is released during the holiday season. Last year, Cleveland artist Bob Peck was selected to design the company’s tins.
