Rooftop Garden Fundraiser April 26 at Oh Wow!
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Oh Wow! Children’s Center and Youngstown CityScape are hosting “Play, Paint & Partake,” a fundraiser to establish a rooftop garden downtown.
A local Eagle Scout is creating the rooftop garden on the McCrory Building, for a service project to demonstrate leadership while benefiting his community.
The event will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. April 26 at Oh Wow, 11 W. Federal St.
At the fundraiser, guests will create rustic, wooden signs they will paint and make their own. Snacks and beverages will be provided.
All proceeds will support the Eagle Scout’s rooftop garden project.
