Rotary Sets 4th Annual Groundhog Craft Beerfest
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Youngsatowney Paul is back in his winter habitat, and ready to emerge from his burrow!
The Rotary Club of Youngstown will host the 4th annual Groundhog Craft Beerfest sponsored by Premier Bank on Jan. 29 at Stambaugh Auditorium in the Jeanne D. Tyler Grand Ballroom.
Since 2019, the event has raised tens of thousands of dollars to benefit community organizations and projects, including YMCA Mahoning Valley, Project MKC, Dolly Parton Imagination Library, Robinson-Shuba statue project and Rotary International’s Polio Plus project.
Last year, the Rotary held a summer session. This month’s Beerfest will have two session from 1 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m, with an hour-long VIP tasting before each session. Patrons may sample a number of IPAs, stouts, porters and other varieties of beer from regional brewers.
General admission tickets are $50 and VIP tickets are $60. They can be purchased through the Stambaugh Auditorium box office by calling 330 259 0555 or at StambaughAuditorium.com.
