Skilled Trades Day Celebration at Penguin City Brewing

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – National Skilled Trades Day will be celebrated locally Wednesday, May 3, with Cheers to Beers and Careers at Penguin City Brewing, downtown.

A food truck will be on-site during the event, which will take place from 4 to 7 p.m.

Guests are urged to bring their children, and Penguin City will create a kid-friendly beverage for them.

Children who dress up as their favorite skilled trades worker (or in a career outfit of their choice), can trick-or-treat around the brewery. There will also be a skilled trades costume contest.

Glasses of beer will be discounted for attendees wearing their skilled trades uniform.

Businesses interested in showcasing their company and career opportunities at the event, and passing out candy, can sign up by emailing [email protected]. All businesses are welcome.
