Slice of the Valley Returns Feb. 25

WARREN, Ohio – The Rotary Club of Warren’s Slice of the Valley competition will return Feb. 25 at the Metroplex Expo Center.

In addition to the pizza contest, it will also feature live music from Frank Sinatra impersonator Bo Wagner, desserts from The Mocha House and local craft beers. Auctions and a 50/50 raffle will also be held.

Last year, Belleria Pizzeria won the pizza challenge and Primanti Bros. won the award for best specialty pizza.

The fundraiser runs 4 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 6. Beverages and desserts are available for purchase.

Proceeds will support Trumbull Mobile Meals, Warren Family Mission, Salvation Army of Warren, Rotary Foundation and Courthouse Square Fountain Restoration Project.

Pizza vendors interested in competing can register by contacting event chairman Rob Berk at 330 369 1192. Those interested in sponsoring Slice of the Valley can contact Bill Beinecke at 330 856 1414.
