Southwoods Health Opens Express Care Site in Columbiana

BOARDMAN, Ohio — Southwoods Health has opened its newest Express Care facility at 225 East State Route 14 in Columbiana. The new site joins the Boardman and Campbell locations operated by Southwoods, which is based here.

“As we continue to focus on the health care needs of the communities we serve, we are expanding our Express Care services across the Valley,” said Ed Muransky, Southwoods Health CEO, in announcing the opening. “We’re excited to bring Southwoods’ compassionate, quality, convenient care to Columbiana.”

Southwoods Express Care offers fast, easy access to medical care that is non-urgent but still requires immediate attention. Patients can be treated for allergies, asthma, sinus infections, sore throats, ear infections, sprains, strains, viral infections, rashes, skin irritations, and more. Flu shots are available and the CDC recommends vaccinations early in the fall. COVID-19 testing is also available.

The Columbiana office will also provide primary care and X-ray services.

The building it occupies, previously known as Fairfield Commons, was purchased in February 2020 by SCSW Realty Group LLC for $1.24 million. SCSW is a limited liability corporation that was registered to do business by Muransky.

Southwoods Express Care locations are open seven days a week with morning, evening and weekend hours.
