Stambaugh Adds Craft Show to Tuba Christmas Show

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Stambaugh Auditorium is adding a wrinkle to its third annual Tuba Christmas show as it welcomes artists from across the Mahoning Valley for a craft show.

The show will be held 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 3 at the Tyler Grand Ballroom at Stambaugh Auditorium. Admittance is free, but donations will be accepted.

Among the items available at the Holiday Craft Show are holiday decorations, hand-painted glass and ceramics, ornaments, pet apparel and art pieces. Spaces for vendors are still available.

Started in 1974, Tuba Christmas is a worldwide, independently organized series that began as a memorial for tuba player William Bell. Over his career, Bell – who was born Christmas Day – played with John Philip Sousa, in the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and in the NBC Symphony Orchestra.
