Sweeney’s Operation Santa Supports Project MKC
BOARDMAN, Ohio – Through the end of the year, Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC will donate to Project MKC for every new car sold at the dealerships as part of the annual Operation Santa campaign.
The funds, $50 for each new vehicle, will support Project MKC’s programs, such as the diaper bank, comfort kits, after school tutoring and Adopt-A-School.
“Project MKC works with our most vulnerable population, our Valley’s children, and the money raised from Operation Santa will go directly to fund local programs that improve their quality of life and give them hope toward a great future,”said Alexa Sweeney Blackann, president of Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC, in a statement.
Last year, Sweeney’s Operation Santa raised $32,800 for the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley. Since it was started in 2013, Operation Santa has raised more than $150,000 for local charities.
