Synergy Comp Achieves 15% Growth in 2019
SHARON, Pa. — Since 2006, Synergy Comp has helped employers to create safer workplaces, reduce injuries, improve productivity, increase profits and realize a significant return on dollars expended.
Synergy Comp is a monoline workers’ compensation company that grew by 15% in 2019, and 300% over the past eight years, says President and CEO Lew Kachulis.
“Our high-energy and dedicated team received numerous awards throughout the year,” he notes.
Among them were being ranked three consecutive years as one of the best places to work in Pennsylvania, along with the inclusion, for the fourth year in a row, on Inc. magazine’s list of the 5000 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America.
Synergy Comp also received an A- rating (excellent) for financial stability by AM Best.
Synergy Comp stands as a testament to focused transformation, Kachulis says, as it generates continuous momentum for national expansion
The company is active in Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. 2020 planned expansion encompasses Delaware, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia, he says.
Growth and greater efficiency allow the Synergy team to contribute to the local community, foundations and charitable organizations.
Synergy employees give back to the Children’s Aid Society, American Heart Association, the Community Food Warehouse and Shriner’s Hospital of Erie.
Through the use of the education improvement tax credit, the company funds opportunities for youth. Synergy provided more than $200,000 for pre-K scholarships and supports local schools, United Way’s Success by Six, The Buhl Club, Building Blocks Child Center, Zion and KidZone Learning Center.
The Synergy Comp team also participated in United Way’s Day of Caring, the American Heart Walk and Bring Your Dog to Work Day.
