Trumbull Career Center Hosts Virtual Open House Dec. 9

WARREN, Ohio – Trumbull Career and Technical Center will host its Virtual Open House Dec. 9 for sophomores and their families to learn about the center’s 28 career programs.

The open house, which begins at 5:30 p.m., is open to students in Trumbull County. Applications for the 2021-2022 school year open Dec. 1, with a priority deadline of Jan. 15.

TCTC offers 28 full-time career-technical programs across 13 fields. Programs allow students to earn industry credentials and college credits, as well as make professional contacts, bolster their resumes and gain valuable work experience.

“The TCTC Virtual Open House will allow students and families to meet with program instructors without having to leave their home,” said TCTC director Mary Flint in a statement. “We feel this will provide an equally beneficial experience as the in person Open Houses that we’ve held in the past while keeping the health and safety of the community our highest priority.”

Students and their families can listen to Trumbull Career and Technical Center teachers discuss program curriculum for both technical programs and academic classes.

More information on the Virtual Open House, as well as registration, is available HERE.
