Director, Hubbard Public Library
HUBBARD, Ohio – Lorena Hegedus has served as the director of Hubbard Public Library since 2013. She has led the implementation of innovative library and community-centered services. These include media and electronic services, public computer services, social services and outdoor resources.
During her tenure, the library has added a “library of things,” from which patrons can borrow nonbook items such as mobile Wi-Fi hot spots and a variety of technology devices. In addition, the library now has a MakerSpace that includes a sublimation printer, a wide-format cutter, a wide-format printer, a Cricut maker, screen printing equipment and a 3D printer.
