The Update | Top Hat Presents ‘Jekkyl & Hyde’; ‘Pippin’ Continues at ACTS

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Top Hat Productions will present the musical “Jekyll & Hyde,” with performances at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 20-21 and Nov. 3-4 and 10-11 at the Fairview Arts & Outreach Center, 4220 Youngstown-Poland Road.

Based on the classic story by Robert Louis Stevenson, “Jekkyl & Hyde” is a tale of murder and chaos pitted against love and virtue.

Dr. Jekyll, driven to find a cure for challenging medical dilemmas, is rebuffed by the powers that be and decides to make himself the subject of his experiments.

Robert Brandon Runnion portrays Dr. Henry Jekyll, a passionate doctor, and Edward Hyde, a madman.

Jennifer Lumley Kuczek portrays Emma Crew, and Julie Palumbo Villa plays Lucy Harris. 

Directed by Brian Palumbo and Julie Palumbo Villa, with Robert W. Noble as music director, the cast also includes Nevaeh Alkire, Antonio Bonilla, Edward Bonilla, David Brown, Craig Conrad, Jeremy Davis, Michael DiVencenzo, Greg Endsley, Theresa Evans, Lynnz Gonzalez, Jamie Holderman, Connie Leathers, James Locker, Jessica Ludovici, Taeshawn Madison, Becky McConnell, Mary Noble, Tom O’Donnell, Brittany Leah Storey and Anthony Villa.

‘Pippin’ Continues at ACTS

SHARON, Pa. – Area Community Theatre of Sharpsville’s run of the musical “Pippin” will continue this weekend, with performances at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 20 and 21 and 2:30 p.m. Oct. 22.

The theater is at the intersection of Irvine and State streets, downtown, in the former Sacred Heart Church.

Tickets are $25 ($20 for students) and can be purchased at the door or in advance by calling 724 815 4388.
