Three Shenango Valley Companies Named ‘Best Place to Work’

HERMITAGE, Pa. – Team Pennsylvania has named three Shenango Valley companies to its list of Best Place to Work in the state: Hudson Companies, Synergy Comp Insurance Co. and Autosoft.

Hudson Companies, a construction firm based in Hermitage, took the top ranking in the small-business category – 99 or fewer employees – while Synergy Comp in Sharon was ranked No. 30. Autosoft, a software company with a site in West Middlesex, was ranked No. 12 on the medium-sized business list.

To be recognized by Team Pennsylvania, businesses must submit an application, which is followed by an anonymous survey of employees, including questions such as how much they enjoy their work and how they’re treated. The list of finalists was released in September, with the rankings announced Nov. 30.

Team Pennsylvania is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to connecting the public and private sectors to improve the Keystone State’s economic wellbeing.
