Trumbull Tourism Recognized for Marketing Excellence

NEWARK, Ohio — During this year’s RUBY Awards presentation by the Ohio Travel Association, the Trumbull County Tourism Bureau was recognized in four categories.

The organization received two top RUBY awards (Recognizing Uncommon Brilliance) for the Visitor Email Marketing Campaign and its 2020 Trumbull County Visitors Guide. The visitors guide also earned Trumbull Tourism the Destiny Award for Printed Collateral Material from the U.S. Travel Association.

Trumbull Tourism was also a finalist in the video category for its 2021 video campaign, and received a Certificate of Excellence for its 2020-21 Where’s Wally organic social media campaign.

“Our team, the Board, Staff, and marketing partners have persevered despite the adverse effects our industry has endured this past year and a half,” said Beth Carmichael, Trumbull Tourism’s executive director. “We’re pleased that we can bring positive results to our community and that our work has been recognized nationally and now on a state level.”
