Video Featuring Local 3D Printing Community Wins 3 Emmys
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – A video highlighting the future of manufacturing featuring America Makes, the Youngstown Business Incubator and Youngstown State University has won three Emmy Awards.
The nine-minute video, “Rethinking Manufacturing,” won awards for Branded Content Program-Short Form, Director-Non-live and Photographer-Program at the 51st annual Lower Great Lakes Emmy Awards earlier this month.
The video was produced by the National Institute for Standards and Technology and features two YSU graduates: Ashley Totin, project engineer at America Makes, and Zac DiVencenzo, co-founder and chief operating officer of Juggerbot 3D.
Totin and DiVencenzo help tell the story of how American manufacturing is changing and how entrepreneurs are rethinking career choices and the idea of how to revitalize communities.
The full video can be watched on the NIST’s YouTube page.
